The National Safety Council is the nation's leading advocate for safety and health. Their Defensive Driving Courses have proven successful through reducing the number of collisions and traffic violations.
A National Safety Council Certificate will be issued within 10 business days of successful course completion for the English or Spanish Defensive Driving course and the Motorcycle Safety Program. A certificate is not provided for the Alive! at 25 Parent's Program.

This training utilizes the same course content as the NSC's 8-hour defensive driving course for the classroom, but takes the average student less that half that time to complete.

Developed in partnership with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, this interactive, online program is intended for both new and experienced motorcyclists to hone basic skills and brush up on the latest safe riding concepts. Riders who take the Motorcycle Safety Program online course can learn techniques and decision-making strategies for minimizing risk, as well as learn attitudinal information and crash avoidance measures they may not be exposed to otherwise. This program is now being offered to traffic courts and traffic schools to promote safety among motorcyclists who receive moving violations.

Alive at 25! Parent Program
Course Outline

This innovative program gets parents involved in training their teens to drive safely. This course helps parents understand the risks teen drivers face and how to prepare them to drive. Developed by the National Safety Council, this course helps parents reinforce basic driving skills and good decision-making to help teens become safe, responsible, and defensive drivers.
