Q. How do I get a password?

A. Click on the Register Now button and complete the registration page. You may select your own user name and password. You will immediately receive instructions and have access to your courses. If you provide an email address during registration, your login information will also arrive by email.

Q. I forgot my user name and password. What should I do?

A. If you know your User Name, click here, enter your User Name, then click Get Password. The system will email you your password. Otherwise, contact customer support by sending an email to infoMaricopa@firstnetlearning.com or calling us toll-free at (888) 948-4949 x1.

Q. How long do I have access to my online defensive driving course?

A. You have unlimited access to your course for 45 days from the date of registration. Access is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Q. How long will it take me to complete my online defensive driving training?

A. It takes approximately 1 1/2 hours to complete the course depending upon your Internet connection speed.

Q. Once I have successfully completed my training, what do I need to do to get my certificate?

A. Once you have completed the course and passed the post-test with a score of 80% or better, you have successfully completed your training. Upon successful course completion, you may print your own certificate by returning to the Main Lobby and clicking on the Certificate button. The system will allow you to print certificates for courses you have completed with a score of 80% or better. Remember to change your print setting to Landscape prior to printing.

Q. Do I need to have a lot of computer skills to take this course?

A. No. We provide you with step-by-step instructions, guiding you through the logon process and course navigation. Q. What requirements does my computer need to take this online training?

A. The online defensive driver course is accessible from any Internet connection (broadband connection NOT required). The minimum requirement is a computer with Internet Explorer 4.0 or Netscape 4.0 browser set at 800 X 600 (or higher) monitor resolution. Most important is the ability to run JavaScript which was initially included in the version 4 browsers.

Speakers or headset are not required for the Defensive Driving course, although the course contains sound effects.

Q. Does my computer require any special applications to take this online course?

A. In order to view the animated portions of the driving course, you will need to have Flash installed on your computer. If you don’t have Flash on your system, it is an easy and free download, available at Macromedia, which will take about 1 minute to download on a 56kb modem. You don't have to download it now. When you start the course, you will be prompted to download.
